Great old and charming hotel in the centre of Rye. The rooms are typically furnished in English. Breakfast was served in the very nice breakfast room, very good English breakfast after order as well as small buffet. . Hotel parking behind the hotel
Very small bathroom without comfort

It had a cosy atmosphere and provided good service. The cosy double room was brand-new, the bed was incredibly large. The staff was competent and around most of the time. The fantastic and stunning location was near Landgate.

Worn carpets, outdated furnishings!!! Confusing room allocations led to dissatisfaction with the accommodations. Maintenance issues and cleaning standards definitely need attention. I suggest investing in proper signage for room directions!!!

The house has a very special charm and is perfectly located in the center of Rye - and still quiet. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was a "typical" English breakfast.
The pool would benefit from renovation.

Our family had a lovely stay here, especially enjoying the big comfy king room and the delicious cooked breakfast. The place also has a nice pool for some relaxation, and we appreciated the spa services available. The only thing I'd suggest is a more varied breakfast spread, as the options were a bit limited, but overall, we had a great time! 😊

Solid old fashion values, attentive staff.
Felt the rooms were overpriced. I stayed in a superior deluxe at £175.00 per night excluding breakfast. I have paid less than this staying in London and other towns /cities in rooms of comparable size and facility.
